However, when I came across Seventy Five, a high-end bed making rounds on social media for many months now, I realized a bed can transcend beyond relaxation. This collaborative masterpiece by Savoir (a UK-based bedding company renowned for building artisanal beds) and KEF (a British company specializing in the design and production of a range of high-end audio products) resulted in a luxury bed integrating seamlessly woven speakers.

Dubbed Seventy Five, the luxury speaker bed showcases a headboard featuring 10 hand-upholstered panels, which gently curve around the bed, housing KEF’s Reference Series speakers. The headboard is paired with ‘Savoir’s iconic Nº2 bed set’, featuring a slim base adorned with ‘Kvadrat x Raf Simmons’ fabric, employing sustainably sourced wool and recycled Kirkby Design fabric on the reverse side.

“This commitment to sustainability and opulence ensures that each Seventy Five bed serves as both a haven of comfort and an environmentally conscious choice,” mentions the company. The speakers derive power from six KEF Kube8b subwoofers discreetly nestled within the bed’s base. This sophisticated audio system envelops the sleeper in serene sounds, fusing comfort and immersive audio.

Made from rich American walnut wood, the bed also has thoughtfully positioned side tables complete with integrated charging ports, which is an indispensable amenity in today’s fast-paced world. Given their bespoke nature, Savoir beds retail for $115,000 so it is safe to assume that this speaker bed will be priced over $100,000.

For those in pursuit of the pinnacle of sleep innovation, the Seventy Five is now within reach and can be availed from Savoir’s official website. But I will say that it is only for people with money to splurge, not a common man. Although impressive, you’re better off with a comfortable bed surrounded by speakers for a similar experience, a setup that would cost far less than the Seventy Five.
