Swimming and sun-bathing on beaches has benefits if done in the right way. Too much exposure to sunlight is not safe for health and as a result most of the people coming to beaches prefer having sun bath under comfy sun loungers. UK-based sleep brand Simba Sleep has branched out from sleep to beach products in order to finesse the sun-bathing experience. Recently, the company has unveiled prototype of Simba Blue, a luxury sun lounger with needful utilities to spend your summers in a luxurious way. It features a motorized parasol, solar-powered USB charger, Wi-Fi hotspot, a built-in safe, beverage cooler, and an ambient LED parasol system that emits a sleep-inducing shade in the evening.

There is also a SPF-infused facial misting system that sprays thermal spring water enriched with aloe, bamboo and rosewater to hydrate skin. With its motorized seat adjustment and 360-degree rotation feature, users never have to worry about the changing positions of the sun throughout the day, as it can be managed easily with the simple click of a button. In addition, the built-in safe provides enough space to store your valuables, while the built-in cooler keeps your drinks cool until you aren’t done.

Design teams of London and Helsinki have designed it using premium-grade materials sourced from France, Amsterdam, Belgium and Sweden. People conscious towards their skin can connect it to the companion mobile app to monitor UV and vitamin D levels as well as get sun-damage alerts according to specific skin type.

Fused with Simba’s innovative hybrid mattress technology featuring a unique combination of 2,500 conical pocket springs and responsive memory foam, this smart sun lounger offers seamless sunbathing experience. The renowned beach restaurant Blue Marlin Ibiza will be the first one to have more than 200 Simba Blue sun loungers.
