With KBIS currently underway, we are seeing numerous companies launch new BBQ collections and update their grill lineups. The only complaint regarding the new rollouts is their primary focus on outdoor areas, which is why you would observe the grills to be large in size and tailored mainly for spacious backyards. This is a significant hindrance for people who don’t own a patio or lack the backyard space to accommodate such beasts. But this is where the SmoqeX Indoor Pellet Smoker from Livwell Brands LLC, a US-based startup, enters the frame. While not an outdoor grill in the traditional sense, SmoqeX functions as a kitchen appliance that promises to bring the smoky flavors of barbecue indoors without the smoke, mess, or hassle.
Currently the subject of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, SmoqeX is an all-in-one appliance that functions as a pellet smoker, air fryer, and grill. This reminds of GE Appliances Smart Indoor Smoker, which came stocked with preset cooking modes, a user-friendly interface, and configurable racks to fit whatever you want to smoke. It is to be noted that GE Appliances was the first brand to achieve such functionality, followed by the Ninja Woodfire 8-in-1 Electric Outdoor Pizza Oven, both fueled by pellets and designed for indoor use.
Getting back to SmoqeX, it boasts the ability to “infuse authentic wood-smoked flavors using your wood pellets.” Unlike traditional outdoor pellet smokers that guzzle fuel, this indoor model uses only a fraction of the pellets while delivering full, authentic taste. The appliance features six adjustable smoke levels, three heating elements for even cooking, and convection technology that can blend with smoking for crispy, flavorful results.
Beyond smoking, it functions as an air fryer for frying, a grill for searing meats, and can even handle roasting, baking, and dehydrating. “With 8 oven presets including bake, roast, sear, and dehydrate, you can cook a variety of meals effortlessly, all in one compact, high-performance appliance,” the brand notes. The smoker boasts a 26-quart capacity that is roomy enough to accommodate family-sized meals, with four shelf levels, a clear viewing window, and a 12-hour timer for “set-it-and-forget-it convenience.”
Another noteworthy feature that is helping SmoqeX get more eyeballs in the industry is its patented ‘Smoke Elimination Technology’ that converts wood smoke into clean air before it exits the unit. “Advanced filtration technology eliminates indoor smoke while preserving wood-smoked flavor,” the brand states. The result is an authentic wood-smoked aroma without any smoke clouds, sticky buildup, or lingering odors. The appliance also comes with a built-in meat probe that monitors internal temperature, and when your food reaches the perfect level of doneness, it automatically switches to “keep warm” mode so you never overcook.

From a technical standpoint, “SmoqeX offers a wide temperature range, from 170°F for true low-and-slow smoking all the way up to 500°F for high-heat searing. You’ll be able to control smoke time and level, including using presets or Custom mode to go from light smoke to bold, deep flavor,” the brand states.
For those interested in reserving a unit, SmoqeX is offering a super early bird price of $575, which is 42 percent off its quoted retail price of $998. This includes one SmoqeX Indoor Smoker, two grill racks, two rack supporters, one air fry basket, one probe, and one drip pan.
