Australian builder Removed Tiny Homes wants to grab the clientele in this category with its Solace tiny house, which serves outdoor living on a giant platter with a deck and a rooftop terrace with a wraparound balustrade.
Among the first in the brand’s newly launched Tiny Mansions series, the Solace tiny house measures 32 feet long, 11 feet wide, and 14.7 feet high. Its expansive outdoor spaces, paired with huge glazing and a generous footprint, makes this micro-dwelling an entertainer’s dream.
The metal, board and batten exterior creates an organic silhouette that blends well with the natural surroundings. Its five-panel bi-fold doors are accessed from the big deck, which also leads to the rooftop with a private stairway on one end. The front door opens into the open-plan kitchen and living area, which further expands the entertainment space of the house.
You can fit an L-shaped sofa or a convertible couch in the living area with a small coffee table. The glazing pours in an insane amount of natural light during the day in the area. A dining table-cum-kitchen island with storage acts as the connecting point between the two spaces.
The kitchen follows the L-shaped layout with a two-burner cooktop, stainless steel sink, oven, and refrigerator. You will find storage fitted into every spare corner to facilitate a clean and well-organized cooking area. There are overhead cabinets, under-counter drawers and cabinets, and a pantry closet. The two adjoined spaces without any barrier walls allow the host to engage in conversation with guests while preparing meals and beverages.
There is no space for placing an entertainment unit in the living area, which might be a deterrent to a few people desiring it. However, the television can be put in the bedroom down the hall from the kitchen. In the hallway, a door leads to the bathroom. The bathroom is spacious and fits in an enclosed shower cabin, a stacked washer-dryer unit, a vanity sink, a toilet, a closet, and open cubbies for toiletry essentials.

Past the bathroom, the king-size master suite is the sole designated sleeping station in the house. It includes a separate double glass door opening onto the deck outside. The bedroom also features a wall full of closet space to keep your clothing and other essentials neatly organized. A king-size bed flanked by two nightstands offers a secluded resting space behind the pocket door, offering utmost privacy.
Solace tiny house is designed for those who want room to breathe and entertain people in their homes. The rooftop terrace can host 8-10 people at a time. The builder also offers plenty of customization options, should you want to tweak a few things to fit your particular needs. The prices for this spacious micro-dwelling begin from AU $227,990 (roughly US $155,800), which will, of course, increase if you opt for customization.
