Sony has expanded its CS Series of speakers with four new models, all designed to deliver the brand’s signature sound quality at an affordable price. The new lineup includes SS-CS8M2 center-channel speaker, SS-CSEM2 Dolby Atmos upfiring speakers, SS-CS3M2 floorstanding speaker, and SS-CS5M2 bookshelf speakers. These additions make it easy for you to build a cinema-quality sound system that suits your space and style. A key benefit is that they can be paired together and with Sony AV receivers to create a personalized setup that is easy to upgrade over time.

These speakers come with all-wood Bass reflex enclosure for better sound. Furthermore, Reinforced Cellular cone, air-core conductors in the tweeters, and a silicon steel plate in the woofers ensure great audio quality.

SS-CS5M2 Bookshelf Speakers

The $250 CS5M2 bookshelf speakers feature a three-way design with a 5.12-inch woofer, a 0.98-inch soft dome tweeter and a 0.75-inch wide dispersion tweeter. They support Hi-Res Audio and offer a wide frequency range from 53Hz to 50,000Hz. Compact yet powerful, they are ideal for small rooms where you want clear, detailed sound.

SS-CS3M2 Floor-Standing Speaker

The larger CS3M2 floor-standing speakers are priced at $280 per pair. Each three-way, four-driver speaker system features two 5.12-inch woofers for deep bass, a 0.98-inch tweeter, and a 0.75-inch super tweeter that deliver a broad frequency response from 45Hz to 50,000Hz.

SS-CS8M2 Center-Channel Speaker

This compact, 2-way center-channel speaker features two 3.94-inch woofers and a 0.98-inch tweeter to deliver clear and focused dialogue for a better TV viewing experience. Tuned for vocal clarity and ideal for small spaces, it makes a great addition to any home theater setup. It offers a frequency response of 55Hz to 25kHz.

SS-CSEM2 Dolby Atmos Upfiring Speakers

Sony has also introduced Dolby Atmos upfiring speakers to the CS Series. These speakers are designed to sit on top of your existing setup and reflect sound off the ceiling to create an immersive overhead audio effects. Each unit features a 3.94-inch full-range driver and dedicated tweeters to enhance the listening experience. For added flexibility, they can also be wall-mounted.
