Steampunk is a popular aesthetic but there are very few places where you can buy such unique metal-centric objects. Also, everyone is not into DIY. There is no denying that a majority of people want something individual and handcrafted. So when a cool Steampunk coffee table like this one surfaces, we can’t hold back.

It is a repurposed car engine coffee table by Minnesota-based Machine Age Lamps. Founded by Shawn Carling, the company provides Steampunk lighting and furniture fixtures that are perfect for people interested in vintage machinery.

It is a one-of-a-kind works of art – handmade, signed, and numbered by the artist in Lakeville, Minnesota. Crafted from an authentic Carroll Shelby 427FE engine block, this table is unique in its own way.

The upcycled car engine sits on an antique, 100-year-old plus Minnesota barn wood base. Pistons are shown off on both ends of the engine block and there is intricate pipework in the base. A tempered glass top finally completes the table, which grabs attention at the first sight. Furthermore, lights are added to each cylinder that can be controlled by a switch on the underside of the wooden base.
