Tiny Rubik, a compact house by Romania’s Eco Tiny House, offers your freedom to move around with your lodging in tow without compromising on personal space or comfort. Just shy of 20 feet in length, the Tiny Rubik house squeezes two sleeping areas, one on the ground floor and one in the loft, showcasing a well-designed layout.

The micro-dwelling can accommodate a small family of three to four individuals in its two-bed layout. The tiny house provides a partial off-grid arrangement with solar panels. With windows in every corner, the interior remains soaked in sunlight during the day, minimizing energy usage.

Tiny Rubik is based on a double-axel trailer and sits on the smaller side of the industry, just like Baluchon’s Nouvelle Danse. Accessed through a glass door, the interior centers around the petite cooking area that also includes a small dining table. A sink, an integrated induction cooktop, and overhead and undercounter cabinets make the setup a breeze, even in the remotest locations. Facing the kitchen is a tiny dining setup with a folding table.

On one side of the kitchen is the downstairs bedroom. The built-in bed features integrated storage and also acts as a daybed. A large panoramic window next to the bed brings sunlight and views inside. Opposite this sleeping area is the bathroom, accessed by a sliding door. Equipped with a glass-enclosed shower, a vanity sink, and a composting toilet, the bathroom is compact but functional.

The second bedroom of the tiny house is above the toilet and is reached via a fixed ladder. The loft sleeping area fits a bed and is a great option for guests or kids. A wooden railing is also installed, giving the layout a better frame. This area also has a window to let the sunlight flow in.

The spruce timber paneling on the walls is complemented by laminate floors, LED light strips, and modern furniture. Turning the compact pod into an alluring abode, the off-grid Tiny Rubik house highlights a rustic appeal with a premium look at a base price of €62,900 (roughly $75,000).
