Be it any tiny house in the world, if it’s not light-filled, there is no point adorning it with world-class furnishing and appliances. Over the years, it has almost become a prerequisite for the makers to ensure the tiny house they are building is not only airy and colorful but also light-filled. In order to cater to this, most tiny house makers now outfit their micro dwellings with skylights that ensure there is no hindrance is light passage. Towhee tiny house designed by Rewild Homes is no different and allows both air and light to penetrate inside.

Built on a double-axle trailer, the 24-foot-long tiny house is finished in wood cladding with a steel roof to top the structure. The biggest highlight of the home is undeniably the two skylights that flood the interior with both fresh air and natural light. One of the skylights is accoutered in the loft section while the other lies above the main floor. But that’s not all, double casement windows over a live-edge Bartop make for a perfect breakfast bench or desk area and invite outdoors in.

Now that I am done singing praises about the ventilation, I’d introduce you to other features of the Towhee tiny house. Upon entering, you’ll find a spacious living room that offers plenty of space for lounging. The living room is equipped with a sofa and a side table that houses a planter. You can also access the loft bedroom from the living room via a storage-integrated staircase. A handrail offers you support to reach the loft bedroom that sleeps a couple of people, courtesy of a double mattress. If required, you can sleep extra people; you would however require an additional mattress for that.

Downstairs is the kitchen and the bathroom of the tiny house. Equipped with live-edge acacia countertops, a breakfast bar, a mid-sized fridge/freezer, a sink, and a faucet, alongside other accessories and appliances, the kitchen is functional and well-managed. A sliding door leads to the bathroom area that includes a toilet, vanity, and shower. There is no word on the price, but I estimate the tiny house to cost around $150,000 based on the company’s pricing history.
