Customization of vans has no bounds and the latest example is from Japan where a vehicle parts shop has tweaked Toyota’s minivan model Roomy to look like a Land Cruiser. There are no changes in the original build rather some alterations are made to the exterior with CLS-Fox elements. In order to get the looks of a Land Cruiser, the Japanese tuning company ESB Style has added a toughened-up front end of the Land Cruiser Series 300, complete with a grille extension and a sporty rear bumper featuring body-colored diffuser to the Roomy, making it their LandC Roomy.

For off-grid functionality, the custom Roomy is lifted 30mm using a suspension kit and is equipped with white steel wheels using Toyo Open Country R/T tires. The minivan seats in the back are replaced with a Fox Mat – a 61-inch leather mattress that two shorter-height people can stretch their legs on. As visible in the pictures, the mattress can be folded if you want to use the rear for storage purposes. Furthermore, ESB Style has also put a hard-shell tent on the rooftop, which literally turns it into a campervan.

The Toyota Roomy has a length of 146 inches and is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engine. New Atlas notes it as a tiny MPV that also makes space for sleeping but in a little upright position. As of the transformation, ESB Style has changed the entire rear cabin to create a cozy lounge that can be great for relaxing with the tailgate open. It is like a campervan sans kitchen and bathroom.
