Australia-based Track Trailer is well-known for its off-grid travel trailers, but the brand knows how to stay ahead of the times. With an increase in electric-first mobile living, the company has also shown an interest in off-grid living, with its Tvan MK6 Firetail being a great example. This off-road camper trailer is specifically designed for off-grid travel with a focus on power and enhanced interior space. Considering its specs, you can expect it to offer 10-12 days of remote living, which is a great feature.
The Firetail travel trailer comes with an option for two 125Ah lithium batteries, a Redarc 2000W pure sine wave inverter, and 200W of roof-mounted solar panels to power everyday devices. A Redarc Manager Alpha50 with Redvision Display lets you keep track of battery status, solar input, and power usage.
The system includes multiple USB sockets at the bed, accessory outlets, and two 240V kitchen outlets to run appliances and charge devices. The trailer is also equipped for extended trips, including a 108-liter water tank and capacity for up to four jerry cans.
Built for off-road capability, the camper trailer is built on a heavy-duty 1.8-tonne suspension system, paired with 33-inch diameter tires with mud stops to handle rugged off-road conditions, while the 12-inch electric drum brakes provide reliable stopping power.
Other off-road features include 1650 mm wheel track, 30-degree departure angle, and 250 mm suspension travel. Furthermore, the Easylift heavy-duty jockey wheel makes maneuvering and stabilizing the trailer easy for off-road touring.
Other cool highlights include organized storage and quick-deploy living spaces, including a slide-out premium kitchen, swing-out awning, and lift-up deck. For outdoor living, the trailer has two additional tent windows and a vent under the bed for extra ventilation and natural light. The swing-out awning provides a shaded outdoor space for relaxing, cooking, or dining.
The MK6 Firetail travel trailer has an Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM) of 1,800 kg, a tare weight of 1,100 kg, and a ball weight of around 170 kg, depending on options. It is one of four variants in the newly released MK6 series.
