In Amsterdam, creativity has always thrived between its canals and bicycle-friendly streets, leading you to historic architecture and world-class museums. It’s fitting, then, that the Workspace Design Show returns to the RAI Amsterdam on 5–6 November 2025, once again — after its successful edition in 2023 — transforming the city into a global design hub ripe with ideas that will shape the future of how and where we work.
This year’s edition arrives with the theme ‘Activate the Senses,’ a call to reimagine the modern workplace as a living, breathing ecosystem that engages mind, body, and emotion. Show Director Esha Bark-Jones says, “We want visitors to experience design in a more human, emotional way, to see, touch, and sense how workplaces can enhance wellbeing, creativity, and connection.”
Across two days of the show, architects, designers, and workplace strategists from across the globe will converge to explore the intersections of innovation, human experience, sustainability, and sensory design that, in tune with new technologies, is redefining workplace productivity and well-being.
“From innovative furniture systems to acoustic solutions and lighting concepts, there’s so much to discover,” Esha affirms.
Power-Packed Programs
The Workspace Design Show will capture Amsterdam’s spirit of experimentation and offer a platform for over 150 international exhibitors and 140 thought leaders to showcase how the office of the future might look, sound, and feel. Visitors can expect to encounter names like Vitra, Interface, Pedrali, VEPA, Kvadrat, Kettal, Humanscale, and Artifort, among others, unveiling their collections that aim to create spaces to nurture collaboration and tranquility.
At the heart of the show will be five experiential features conceived by leading studios like UNStudio, Mecanoo, Casper Schwarz Architects, M Moser Associates, and Tank Design. Each installation will allow visitors to physically engage with the concepts and explore design-led feature spaces.
“Each curated space, whether it’s the Radiance Lounge by M Moser, the Mood Board Contest by Biophilic Design Academy, Workspace Design Talks Lounge by UNS, Occupiers Forum Space by Casper Schwarz, or the Workplace Experience Lounge by Mecanoo or the exhibitor stands, translates the ‘Activate the Senses’ theme into a tangible, emotional experience. It gives visitors a chance to feel what workplace design could be,” Esha told Homecrux.
