San Francisco-based Zero Breeze who previously created a portable air conditioner for camping that doubled as a Bluetooth speaker, night light, and charging station, is back with its improved version. Dubbed Mark II, it is a battery-powered portable air conditioner to help beat the summer heat in a tent. You can even use it in a tiny house, RV or a bus conversion home with the provided 24V DC adapter.

Zero Breeze Mark II is capable of reducing the ambient temperature by 30ºF/16.7°C. Learning from the first-generation model, they have improved the cooling efficiency by adding a dual hose system that draws in fresh outdoor air and expels the hot air through a separate hose. This way, it generates 2 times stronger cooling power with 2300 BTU, and 40% higher cooling efficiency. The 24V compressor is able to reduce outlet air temperature by 20°F/11°C in just 5 minutes.

The portable air conditioner also includes an upgraded duct, which makes use of a centrifugal fan to ensure fine air volume. Furthermore, there is a brushless DC motor that generates powerful airflow while using less energy and reducing the noise level. There is a display on the AC, showing airflow temperature in real-time. Furthermore, there is a LED light that offers warm glow sufficient enough to illuminate a camping tent at night.

Each unit comes with an interchangeable battery that can run the AC for up to 5 hours. It can also be used as a power bank to charge electronics since it has 2 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port. Measuring 20 x 10 x 11 inches, Zero Breeze Mark II weighs about 6.5 kg and can be controlled with a provided remote control. Though, it has an impactful design and strong cooling prowess, you would have to sweat buckets to carry it along to a campsite.

There are additional perks if you want to purchase a separate battery pack.
