They say old habits die hard but sometimes old is gold which is true for this 1999 Kingsley Coach flaunting its pink color exteriors probably inspired by the success of the Barbie movie and gorgeous interiors exuding a vintage feel. In the world of celebrity-owned vehicles, few RVs carry as much retro charm and musical history as the Kingsley Camelot coach that once belonged to an unnamed musician, rumored to be a fan of all things pink. While the identity of the previous owner remains a mystery, it’s clear that this 1999 Kingsley Coach has a fascinating past.

The 45-foot-long coach, with a Peterbilt 379 serving as its front cap, boasts a unique construction. There’s a metal and plywood sandwich structure with added reinforcement by Kingsley, making it more durable than any average RV.

Under the hood of the Peterbilt Model 379 resides a Detroit Diesel Series 60, a powerhouse straight-six diesel engine producing 430 HP and a hefty 1,550 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, this rig is built for easy driving and long-haul journeys. The air ride suspension, 10 KW Onan diesel generator, and two 150-gallon fuel tanks provide both comfort and extended range, allowing for a cruising distance of up to 1,200 miles on a single tank of diesel.

While the exterior proudly sports its distinctive pink hue, the interior tells a different story. The dated yet charming living space boasts ceiling mirrors, oak wood finishings, two slides, three air-conditioners, a safe, and 60-gallon holding tanks – a surprising array of amenities for a vehicle of its vintage. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are all well-made and furnished. It has plenty of storage in the kitchen along with furniture that can be used for dining. The interiors are beautified by lighting installed in the ceiling.

As an RV enthusiast, it’s hard not to appreciate the unique combination of history, celebrity ownership, and retro aesthetics that this 1999 Kingsley Coach brings to the table. This Kingsley Coach is not just a motorhome; it’s a time capsule on wheels, inviting us to step back in time and experience the bygone era of classic RV travel with a touch of musical flair.
