CES has always been a platform to showcase the latest consumer tech, but California-based startup AC Future, in collaboration with Italy-based design house Pininfarina, is bringing some changes to the routine. After introducing its AI Transformer Home (AI-TH) series at CES 2025, the collaboration has now launched production-ready design of its AI-THt trailer at CES 2026. Winner of the 2026 CES Innovation Award, it is a 24-foot mobile trailer that can expand living space on demand. It stays compact on the road while providing full living accommodations after parking.
The AI-THt does not include a front driving cabin, which means all the interior space is utilized only for living space, unlike the other two models. The 24-foot dual-axle trailer features a telescopic rear body construction and slide-out side expansion that nearly doubles its interior footprint, providing 350 sq ft of livable space. The trailer is equipped with furniture that can be used and stored when needed.
As visible in the initial renderings, when expanded, the trailer offers a modern and cozy interior space –decked in a combination of white, grey, and black. The interior space is divided into two parts: one is dedicated to the living room area with a TV room/lounge area, while the other one houses the spacious kitchen with a cooktop, sink, and plenty of cabinets. You can also access the bathroom, bedroom, fold-out sofa beds, and an outdoor deck in a few steps.

The AI-THt camping trailer features Auto Hitch and Tow Assist to automate the connection process and provide electric-drive assistance that reduces the load on the tow vehicle. The interior is optimized by a Mini Split Multi-Zone HVAC for efficient climate control and AI-powered smart features that manage water, power, internet, and security.
For self-sufficient living, the trailer includes a 25W solar system, water recovery technology, up to 100kWh battery, climate control, and residential appliances. It can also function as an EV Charging station or a Home Backup Power source. AC Future is currently taking reservations for its AI-TH camper series and the new AI-THt trailer model, starting $158,000, with delivery estimated for 2026.
