Let’s get this out in the open and quash the debate once and for all. Book lovers who ardently love Wuthering Heights with its gloomy, moody setting will not like the over-the-top, bright, and sensual take that Emerald Fennell has taken on the classic novel. BUT…that isn’t to say the movie isn’t good, which is, of course, if you go in to watch with an open mind and not compare it to the book or haven’t read the book at all. Now, I loved the book with all my heart and hated the toxic characters with a burning passion, so naturally, the rumors of a new adaptation sparked excitement, which quickly died upon the arrival of the steamy trailer, as it did for the most hardcore book lovers.

While we may lament that it is not a true-to-the-book adaptation, for those who love the movie, Airbnb has prepared a special little treat. Airbnb has recreated Cathy’s bright pink bedroom from the new Wuthering Heights movie as an exclusive stay and experience. You can step inside Emerald Fennell’s reimagining of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights. In a collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures, Airbnb is offering an exclusive overnight stay in the heart of Brontë Country, West Yorkshire, which has been shaped directly by the film’s production design.

The movie got its cinematic release on February 13, and fans are divided about it. In the film, production designer Suzie Davies created the bright and privileged interiors to juxtapose the exposed vastness of the Yorkshire moors.

Allowing the fans a taste of this unique experience, Airbnb has reconstructed Cathy’s bedroom to mirror the film set exactly. Its skin-toned walls, layered surfaces, and uncanny detailing suggest bodily presence beyond decoration. Interestingly enough, you will find strands of hair woven into the furniture and vein-like patterns on the walls. Would you believe that these were achieved by translating photocopies of Margot Robbie’s arm onto fabric? They were then layered with skin-like latex, creating a fleshy, almost living texture. I am unsure whether it gives me the ick or if I am impressed.

Well, it is for the winners to decide how they feel about staying in this overstimulated room. As is the case with all Airbnb experiences, not everyone gets it. But for the lucky three couples who manage to snag this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the experience offers the accommodation, a tightly edited program, and an intimate listening session of the film’s soundtrack by Charli XCX, including Chains of Love. You even get to experience an exclusive vinyl pressing, horseback riding across the surrounding countryside, a candlelit dinner inspired by on-screen dishes, a traditional breakfast, and a visit to the Brontë Parsonage.

Booking requests for the Wuthering Heights experience and Cathy’s bedroom will begin at 12 pm GMT on February 20 on Airbnb. The kicker is that the experience is completely free. Three couples will be selected for one-night stays across multiple dates from February 27 to March 4, 2026. If the room aesthetic adhered to the original description in the book, I might have tried to win this thing, but those who actually loved the movie have a golden opportunity to step inside one of the world’s greatest tragic, not to mention toxic, love stories. So shoot your shots, kids!
