Apartment House is a renovation project of an old building apartment by Tokyo-based architect Kazuyasu Kochi. The structure is transformed from a multi-family apartment into a single-family home by refurbishing the entire space in a way that it reveals the center of the house.

The empty space in the center of the house works as the family sitting area. The cross-section of the house is then painted with different and vibrant colors. The design seems pretty odd and definitely challenges the basics of architectural roots. The exterior of the typical two-story apartment seems like any other normal building from outside, but once you enter the house, you will find yourself trapped inside a maze of jigsaw puzzle with splash of vibrant colors.
