Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny house? Chances are – given the current housing crisis – you have. But which design would be the perfect introduction? Well, we’ve got just the one right here. Australian builder Tiny Home Solutions has designed the Arcadia tiny house as an ideal entry point for a small family of three. The 29.5-foot-long tiny house on wheels is a coastal gem inside and out and comes with a breezy layout.

The Arcadia tiny house puts a foldable staircase in the bedroom that leads to the loft. While marketed as a single-story gem, the Arcadia comes with a loft space with versatile uses. Its open layout adds a breezy, coastal charm to the interior, whereas the full-height ceiling master bedroom on the ground floor is ideal for elderly people or people who despise stairs.

The main-floor bedroom has three windows flanking the bed. Paired with the high ceiling, the bedroom is one of the most open and well-lit spaces. Its blue accent wall further enhances that coastal aesthetic. There is an open wardrobe in one corner, while the other has the foldable staircase. It frees up a lot of floor space, which can be used to set up a foldable workspace.

The loft is open with safety railings on both sides that overlook the living area and the bedroom. It spans over 40 square feet, offering enough space for two people to sleep. Alternatively, it can be used as a secondary lounge.

Past the bedroom is the walkthrough bathroom. It is yet another sleek area where light plays an important role through strategic lighting and a white and blue palette. It features a shower cabin, a toilet, a vanity sink, a laundry hookup, and plenty of storage.

Next are the communal spaces. The living area, dining space, and kitchen coalesce with one another in a brisk layout. The living area sits next to the bathroom, where a three-seater lounge offers relaxing evenings. Opposite it is a dining area for two.

At the end is the L-shaped kitchen. It sports a brilliant blue backsplash, along with a two-burner cooktop, an oven, a range hood, a refrigerator, and plenty of overhead and undercounter cabinets and drawers. The kitchen is next to the double sliding glass door, filling it with light.

The Arcadia tiny house, while with an original, brilliant design, can be customized to suit your specific needs. With thoughtful craftsmanship and functionality at its core, the Arcadia can be the perfect start to your downsizing journey.
