Norwegian manufacturer Arendal Sound’s 1528 Tower 8 loudspeaker is known for its great soundstage along with premium design. To mark its 10th anniversary, the company has released a special edition that combines its audio engineering with a unique rosewood finish, while maintaining the original model’s elegant curved shape. Limited to just 25 numbered pairs, this exclusive release is a true collector’s item for audiophiles.

The Arendal Limited 10th Anniversary Edition Tower 8 loudspeaker features a beautiful piano-gloss rosewood finish, inspired by Norway’s design history where it was a favorite of famous Scandinavian designers.

The finish is built up with 12 layers of lacquer, each carefully sanded and polished by hand to create a glowing look. The black satin details on the front, trim, and base add a stylish contrast that balances the warm wood tone.

The rosewood cabinet houses the same architecture as the original 1528 Tower 8 speaker. Inside, a 28mm lithium-magnesium tweeter with a custom waveguide delivers clear highs, while a 5-inch carbon-graphene midrange brings vocals and instruments to life. There are also four 8-inch aluminum woofers to provide room-filling bass to complement the sound.

The sound system is carefully built with a thick, specially designed baffle that aligns all the speaker drivers in time. This ensures sound from each driver reaches your ears at the right moment. Furthermore, the curved shape helps directing the sound to you in a precise way with improved clarity and natural purity.

Every speaker features a different grain of the particular wood piece so no two pieces are alike. The speaker comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by CTO Thomas Gunvaldsen, includes upgraded Puck Pro feet as standard, and features a chrome-plated rear plaque engraved with the serial number and the founder Jan Ove Lassesen’s signature. If you wish to buy the Arendal Limited 10th Anniversary Edition Tower 8 loudspeaker, you have to spend $11,900 to get one, with shipping expected from November 20.
