I was highly appreciative of the work that Handcrafted Movement put into models like Outer Banks and Pioneer. Both these micro dwellings are the epitome of form and function and offer an aesthetically pleasing abode to their users. Another tiny home that impressed me to the same degree is the Aspen Cabin tiny house on wheels.

Built on a triple-axle trailer, the towable home features a downstairs bedroom, a couple of lofts, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The Aspen Cabin measures 30 feet long and is clad in board and batten siding, with Pacific Cedar accenting. The roof is galvanized metal and the exterior sports a small cedar deck and awning system that equips a couple of chairs and a table.

You enter into the living room, which is in the center of the home and contains a couch. A window placed behind the couch offers a passage for air and light to enter the home. Facing the couch is a 24-inch Smart TV to keep you entertained. As aforementioned, the interior is relatively roomy and includes a downstairs bedroom. If you are comfortable sleeping in the lofts, the main-floor bedroom can be used as a home office. Accessed via a sliding door on the left-hand side of the entrance, the flex room otherwise sleeps two people with ease.

On the right-hand side of the entrance is the kitchen of the tiny home that features a hexagonal-shaped breakfast bar. The kitchen also consists of butcherblock countertops, with loads of built-in storage cubbies and cabinets. Other features include a stainless steel LP gas range and, a black exterior vented hood fan with LED lighting. Not to mention, a two-door energy-efficient refrigerator/freezer.

Another sliding door provides access to the bathroom, which has a shower, sink, and toilet. As mentioned before, the tiny house has two lofts, one is accessed via a storage-integrated staircase and the other by a ladder.

Sleeping six people in total, the Aspen Cabin tiny house is a thoughtfully designed dwelling that makes use of every inch of space and becomes home for a small family.
