Furniture designs have come a long way from when they were merely functional. Combining the aesthetic aspect with ergonomic features, furniture designers are creating marvelous pieces every other day. Take Atenae coffee table collection from designer Maurizio Manzoni for instance. The collection features three simple round metal coffee tables made of wood and marble with stylishly curved metal base.

Each table comprises a tabletop and a metal base with three curved legs, supporting the entire structure. The curved bands or legs resemble the shape of a war shield. The stylish metal base is the soul of each table and adds life to the tabletop finished in an option of wood, marble or metal.

The designer used natural materials with raw texture to capture a rustic vibe through this table collection. The table not only allows you to keep coffee mugs and magazines atop it but offers plenty of empty space under the tabletop where you can store stuff.

The table is available in three different size variations and come in different heights and diameters. Given their varying sizes, each table offers a radical charm that allows the user to place them separately or incorporate together in any living area for a sculptural aesthetic.
