Designed by Martin Kallesø Architects, the 183-square feet backyard guesthouse is designed to offer tranquil living space to visitors. It is located near a fjord in Praestro, Denmark and surrounded by lush green environment with serene sights.

The guesthouse is constructed from black painted wood siding. It is purposely built in an asymmetric shape so its windows would face away from the adjacent homes, providing maximum views. Moreover, its irregular shape helps to optimize use of space, light and view without much effort.

Interior on the other hand is clad in wood veneer forming clear contrast to its exterior. To provide warm and relaxing atmosphere, large glass windows are used for allowing natural interaction with outside environment. It is indeed a perfect hideaway space for visitors who want to escape hectic city life and relax in peace.
