Victoria-based tiny house builder, Luxe Tiny Homes, is a relatively new player on the market and employs sustainable materials while creating luxurious micro-dwellings. The Barossa tiny house by the manufacturer – named after the world-famous wine region in South Australia – is the simplest of its creations yet packs a world of luxury within. The 28-foot-long Barossa has a single-floor layout that features a queen-size bed, a compact kitchen, a small living room, and a walk-through bathroom.

Measuring 7.8-foot-wide and 14-foot-high, the tiny house on wheels has a minimalistic flair with an option for off-grid living. It can sleep four people easily in its bedroom and on the living room couch. The exterior is made of sustainable pine timber in overlapped cladding. Inside, the tiny house has no loft, thus no hassle of negotiating ladders or stairs.

A single glass door opens into the open-floor living space. It has a convertible couch next to the big window, facing a cabinet with a television mounted above it. The kitchen is on the other side, which comprises a four-burner cooktop, an oven, a range hood, a sink, an optional dishwasher, overhead and under-counter cabinets, and space for a big refrigerator. A console table is placed opposite the cooking area that doubles as a kitchen island and a dining area.

Past the kitchen, a walk-through bathroom is designed with a storage loft overhead. The subway-tiled bathroom has a full-size glass shower, a washing machine, a vanity sink, and an option between composting, flushing, and incinerating toilet.

The sole bedroom of the Barossa lies at the rear end. It has ample space for a queen-size bed, and clever storage in the form of two wardrobe closets. Priced at AUD 142,690 (roughly $93,500), the Barossa tiny house can be outfitted with off-grid solutions to allow off-road adventures. It is a perfect house for a travel-loving couple.
