The contemporary classic Camaleonda modular sofa designed by Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini in 1970 was re-issued last year. B&B Italia, the original maker of the furniture, has given an eco-friendly makeover to this sofa whose main characteristic is unlimited modularity, making it just apt for the millennials.

“Of all the objects I have designed, Camaleonda is perhaps the best in terms of its sense of freedom. There are infinite number of possible configurations” Mario Bellini explains.

It is a set of bubbly seat modules that can be separated and rearranged by a user according to their requirement. The backs and armrests can be attached using the provided rings and carabineers, allowing homeowners to create endless seating configurations

The Camaleonda modular sofa comprises NAF resin MDF frame and seating upholstered with polyurethane foam or leather. The padding of the sofa has been updated by B&B Italia’s Research & Development Centre to make it more comfortable. Furthermore, the new sofa can be covered with B&B Italia’s entire textile and leather collection, if you may.

Camaleonda sofa is a dynamic furniture object that allows for an infinite number of configurations while still maintaining its peculiar and unique identity. It can be bought from flagship B&B Italia stores right away.
