Circular and multi-sensory design were key themes at the recently concluded Workspace Design Show but office pods stood out as a major trend. These pods provide soundproof spaces for focus and private calls within open offices. Some feature clear panels to avoid complete isolation while offering privacy. These acoustic cabins have been around for years but are now widely adopted by large companies to boost productivity. For 2025, office pod design is moving towards creating flexible, modular, and sustainable solutions that support hybrid work models and employee well-being through biophilia, integrated tech, and neuro-inclusive design.
