We often underestimate the merit of a good chair. Despite spending hours sitting on it, we undermine the value of the four-legged furniture. An ergonomic chair not just makes our life easier, but also reduces stress on the spine and pelvis. One usually expects comfortable seating, backrest, and armrest from a chair and that is exactly what BICAlounge chair has to offer.

Designed by Alexandre Caldas, the lounge chair was inspired by the famous Lisbon chair (BICA chair) from the 1950s. BICAlounge is the first lounge version of the famous Portuguese chair which is highly versatile and comfortable furniture with a consensual design. It can be used anywhere from a patio to a terrace.

Staying true to its character, the newly designed chair tries to raise the standard of comfort without ever distorting the original lines of the Bica chair brand. The chair is made of steel with upholstery finished in natural cork making it a recyclable piece of furniture.
