Czech designer lighting brand BOMMA known for sculptural crystal lighting is presenting its new Ollo lamps at 2026 Maison&Objet, which carry forward its signature style. Designed by Václav Mlynář, these portable lamps are distinguished by a glass ring that mimics the captivating beauty of planets and stars floating in the universe. Ollo lamp is designed to serve as your personal universe you can put on your coffee table, bedside table, or carry with you for a camping trip.

The primary element of the BOMMA Ollo lamp is a hand-shaped transparent crystal glass ring, created using traditional Bohemian techniques. Tiny air bubbles are intentionally trapped within the glass ring to resemble constellations or stars. The center of the ring contains a glowing element described as a tiny sun, around which the glass structure “orbits.”

Each lamp has two elements: one shiny central cylinder body while the other one is the glass ring that tops the cylindrical element. This core element is not only thick enough to carry the lamp easily with hands but it also ensures stability when placed on a flat surface.

When turned on, the glass ring adds a cosmic essence to the design by appearing just like the universe, with plenty of starts and planets. The Ollo lamps are designed to live with you and adapt to your space and mood.

Whether you want to create a warm, cozy ambiance or focused illumination, you can easily adjust the intensity and color temperature of the light from 1850K to 4000K as per different needs. The lamp includes a rechargeable battery to ensure true portability. It can be recharged via the onboard USB-C port, but there are no exact details about the capacity and runtime.
