The kerFchair is a flat pack furniture piece designed by Boris Goldberg. He has crafted this seating furniture to show that in some cases function is not always superior to the form. Along with a detailed structure, this chair holds its practicability making it different from other similar designs. The material used to make the kerFchair is CNC-machined birch wood.

The designer avoided to make use of the laborious technique of pressing the sheets of wood on a bending mold and then fastening them together. Instead he made use of kerfing process to give the chair a curvaceous silhouette along with a delicate but firm winged backrest. The wide teal legs are used to support the entire structure.
