The Botanical Twist bench designed by French industrial designer Alexis Tricoire is an all new eco-friendly urban furniture setup at Capital 8, the largest office complex in the heart of Paris. Made from stainless steel and PEFC-certified Robinia wood, it beautifully evokes the concept of ‘vegetal design‘ derived by Tricoire. Each bench has built-in lights and planters with integrated watering systems to pour the benefits of natural vegetation. Its soft curves and fluid silhouette in the warm European hardwood makes it capable of improving the overall public space environment for visitors.

The Botanic Twist public bench is a collaborative project between Alexis Tricoire and street furniture maker Tolerie Forézienne (TF Urban). Three benches have been installed at the same location since 2016, which has further paved the way for the production of a new collection currently listed at the 2017 TF Urban catalog. Recently, a multidisciplinary jury of fifty experts from French Institute of Design has also awarded it Janus of the Espace de Vie 2017.
