‘Bigger, Better and Badder’ is the most appropriate tagline that defines the legacy of Bowlus travel trailers. If Endless Highway Performance Edition and Terra Firma were beasties, Volterra camping trailer is an absolute brute. The latest camping trailer by the California-based luxury travel trailer manufacturer is way more exquisite and expensive than its previous models.

Volterra is an all-electric RV trailer that relies on solar panels to recharge the battery. The RV is equipped with two built-in 240W solar panels and two optional 240W solar panels, combining 480W of AeroSolar power responsible for charging its 17kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack that offers a 100 percent increase in power capacity over its previous model, Terra Firma. There is also a 50-gallon freshwater tank to quench the thirst while you ride off the town.

Bowlus says that their latest model will let you live off-grid ‘indefinitely.’ This is a tall claim to make but considering the rich legacy of the travel manufacturer, Bowlus could be the first to satiate the unquenchable wanderlust.

With its 100 percent electric feature, users won’t find any propane tank or internal combustion generators in the RV. Sprawling their claims even further, Bowlus advertise Volterra as the first travel trailer featuring an induction stove for cooking. In addition, it is the very first towable to feature integrated high-speed satellite internet, courtesy of Elon Musk’s Starlink. With 250 mbps of remote download speeds anywhere in the U.S. or Canada, it allows you to do remote work from wherever you like.

The 27-feet-long camper accommodates four people and features a galley, just like its previous models. The inside space is filled with all the essentials including a two-burner induction cooktop (as aforementioned), a spacious entertainment area (that can sleep two), a big hotel-style bathroom with a shower, and a bedroom with king-size mattress that sleeps two.
