Located in Bishopworth, Bristop, the Campus Skatepark is created by Andre Seidel and Tim Noke from Transitions Skate. This stunning indoor skatepark was a delinquent swimming pool that’s now providing an open space for youth to engage in skateboarding. Moreover, this community space also offers facilities for the good of the community.

The former swimming pool has be repurposed with concrete to form an open space for skateboarding. This initiative was started in 2011 by youth and social workers to encourage skateboard gaming among young children. Apart from that, there is even a cafe, meeting room and office area to allow those without a skateboard or scooter to enjoy the facilities as well.

Campus and the city council are in the final stages of signing the lease. It is a great way to convert unused building spaces into something that will benefit community in future. This skatepark will certainly encourage more youngsters to come up and explore their skills in such active outdoor games.
