Finding a sustainable tiny house that supports off-grid living is a rarity. A relatively new player in the tiny house industry, Australian builder Luxe Tiny Homes, has arrived to fill that void with its attractive tiny houses that are built with eco-friendly and sustainably sourced materials. The Byron tiny house on wheels is one of its spacious and eco designs. The Byron features a cozy living room, a big kitchen, a ground-floor bedroom, a loft, and a walk-through bathroom in a light-filled interior.

The exterior of the Byron tiny house complements the typical Australian black exterior. The Byron features a sustainable pine timber frame with a blend of matte black steel and western red cedar siding on the exterior.

Measuring 29.5-foot-long, 8-foot-wide, and 14-foot-high, the tiny house feels commodious and allows more headroom in the loft as well. The space-efficient design of this micro-dwelling can accommodate four to six people with ease and has clever storage solutions.

There are two entry points in the tiny house. One of the French doors opens into the living room, while the other offers a separate entrance to the ground-floor bedroom. Thanks to big doors and huge windows, the interior of the compact abode is well-ventilated and filled with natural light. It also comes with an optional deck – measuring 16.4 x 8.2 feet – allowing you to host BBQ parties for family and friends.

The living room is minimalistic and fits a small couch or a couple of chairs. It has been allotted less floor space in favor of a big kitchen that is outfitted with plenty of cabinets and modern appliances. The kitchen has a four-burner stove, an oven, generous countertops, a sink, a dishwasher, a pull-out pantry, and space for a refrigerator.

Opposite the kitchen, a locally sourced live-edge wood breakfast bar is installed with two stools. It is placed under bi-fold windows to allow you to enjoy the vast outdoors when wolfing down scrumptious meals. It can also double as a workspace.

Down the hall from the kitchen, a walk-through bathroom is designed. The space has a laundry area, a full-size glass shower, a cabinet, a vanity sink, and a choice of flush or compost toilet. A loft – accessible via a removable ladder – sits above the bathroom and can be used as a bedroom for two or a storage area.

The main-floor bedroom is accessible either via the separate French doors or through the bathroom. The bedroom is spacious and fits a queen-size bed, a couple of nightstands, and a built-in closet.

Priced at AUD 169,890 (roughly $113,500), the Byron tiny house sits on the pricier side. The price is subject to change depending on the customization options.
