Getting its name from a vast mountain range in central Europe, the Carpathian tiny house, built by Idaho-based builder Tiny Idahomes, is a gorgeous family dwelling that extends the living space with three slide-outs. Boasting a rich green exterior, the tiny house on wheels comes with a retractable awning in the builder’s signature style, one loft bedroom, a huge kitchen, a gigantic living room, a spacious bathroom, and a gooseneck bedroom with an additional loft space.

Without compromising on space and functionality, the 38-foot-long Carpathian tiny house is a perfect fit for a small family of four to six people. A glass door opens into the kitchen, which is flanked by spacious living spaces on both sides.

The kitchen of the micro-dwelling has generous counter space, a convection microwave, a 3-burner propane cooktop, an oven, a ventilation hood, and tons of storage cabinets. On the right side of the kitchen, a galley leads to the bathroom and the gooseneck.

The bathroom has a stackable washer/dryer unit, shower, vanity sink, and toilet. Outside the bathroom, a handful of steps lead to the gooseneck bedroom. The gooseneck has a slide-out to maximize the space, a built-in closet, lift-up storage under the bed, and a storage loft with coat rods. Unlike other gooseneck tiny houses, this one gives plenty of space to move around and stand height.

On the left side of the kitchen, a big living room with two slide-outs provides lounge space for a big family. It is meant as a flexible room that can serve as a dining room, media room, or separate reading nooks. There is a sleeping loft above the living room, accessible via a hand-railed staircase. The loft can sleep kids, guests, or a couple with ease.

With a base price of $91,000, the Carpathian tiny house is one of the most spacious micro-dwellings we’ve come across in a while. Moreover, this compact dwelling is highly customizable, so you can add and omit whatever you see fit.
