Victoria-based Evergreen Homes Australia is a family-run business, which has embodied the principles of cognizant living in the downsized dwelling industry. Although fairly new on the scene, the tiny house builder has quickly impressed the admirers and clients of the tiny house industry. Embodying the builder’s mantra of using traditional timber frames from locally sourced, eco-friendly materials, and incorporating renewable energy sources, the Casuarina tiny house on wheels is a gorgeous single-level home that packs high-end amenities in a 27-foot-long structure.

The Casuarina tiny house offers plenty in its 194 sq. ft. interior that features a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and full kitchen. Despite its small size, the compact house can accommodate up to four people. How you may ask? Well, add a convertible sofa bed for two in the living room.

Boasting high ceilings with skylights, the micro-dwelling displays the builder’s signature touches including live-edge timber finishes, a wood stove, a breakfast bar, a European-style glass shower, and modern appliances in the kitchen. The big French doors open into the spacious living room. The open-floor layout is cozy and has a wood-fired stove.

On the left, a commodious kitchen is outfitted with a four-burner gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, live-edge countertops, and plenty of storage cabinets. A breakfast bar is located opposite the cooking station, which can also double as a kitchen island and work desk.

Past the kitchen, a bathroom is concealed behind a barn-style sliding door. The bathroom has a skylight, glass-enclosed shower cabin, vanity sink, washer/dryer hookup, toilet, and open shelving. On the other end of the house, a full-standing height bedroom comes equipped with a queen-size bed, nightstand, and built-in wardrobe.

As for Casuarina’s additional features, the house is outfitted with Earth wool insulation, a 5kW Split System for air conditioning, an electric water heater, black aluminum windows and doors, and LED lighting. Moreover, the tiny house is compatible with solar systems to offer off-grid living. All in all, it is the perfect house for an eco-conscious family.
