Those who love cats very well know how inquisitive their furry friends are. They love to explore around and keep looking for spaces in the house where they can chill out or have fun. Ricardo Sa, a product designer from Viana do Castelo, Portugal has come up with Choo Choo console furniture mainly designed keeping in mind the needs of cats and their owners. The console furniture draws inspiration from bullet train and is a sleek piece of furniture that impressed me.

Like many out there, I am also a cat lover and have feline furry friends at home. If you are a cat parent, you will love Choo Choo which brings together the functionality of console furniture for both cats and humans. It is made using natural materials like wood and cane webbing. There are dedicated spaces for the cat allowing it to enjoy your company and cherish privacy at the same time. For example, the cane webbing used in the design allows the cat to see what is going on outside without feeling threatened or uncomfortable when any guests arrive.

There are many interesting features in feline-centered Choo Choo console furniture. The pedestal of the console is lined with fabric that is cat-friendly fabric. This is a section where the cat will love to sit and lick clean their paws and nails. The cat can easily enter or leave the furniture using the space provided in the lower part of the furniture.

The console door opens to a discreet compartment which is primarily designed to accommodate a litter box. The placement is such that it is easy to access for cleaning. There are three shelves inside where you can store cat toys, cat food and other essentials needed for your cat along with space that you can use to store personal belongings as well. The top shelf can be used as a place to keep decorative items or books so that even you enjoy the utility of the space.

In my opinion, Choo Choo is a creative and purposeful console furniture design that is equally useful for cats and humans. In a way, it brings the pet and the pet parent together, as they get a cozy place to spend time together. What do you think about this multifunctional design, let us know in the comments section?
