The Jonas sauna, by Lithuanian company Celsium Wellness, is designed to transform outdoor areas into architectural retreats. It brings together two cultures by combining Scandinavian minimalism with the Japanese Yakisugi wood-burning technique to create a distinctive sauna experience. Its simple cubic form and clean lines, along with blackened color, allow it to blend into the natural landscape easily.
The Jonas sauna is designed for those who want a private wellness retreat with a strong sense of style. What makes this model stand out is its façade, crafted from Shou Sugi Ban wood, a traditional Japanese technique of charring timber. This finish not only adds a bold architectural statement but also enhances durability and weather resistance. The burnt-wood exterior even helps the sauna structure blend into the surroundings by appearing like a shadow of the trees.
Inside, the sauna has a stepped interior, covered in wood, and a large square window to enjoy the outdoor views. It also includes integrated benches for comfortable sitting and soft lighting, creating a pleasant atmosphere during the day or night. There is also an optional audio system to elevate the overall experience.
In the photos, you can clearly see the subtle contrast between the dark textured exterior and the warm wood interior, making it a cozy retreat for luxury wellness and slow living. The Jonas sauna is suitable for gardens, lakesides, or modern outdoor living spaces.
