Australia-based innovative pet products maker Cheerble has launched its latest innovation for the furry pals. Named Drinkie, it is a self-cleaning water dispenser that ensures feline friends can get freshwater without human intervention. This sensor-powered device will provide freshwater to cats whenever they are around or as per the rinsing settings.

Drinkie features a 3-liters freshwater tank that can provide sufficient water to pets for up to five days. The smart app will notify you when the water in the dispenser is about to finish. There is also a self-cleaning dish and also a separate 1-liter tank for wastewater.

Just add water to the freshwater tank, set the time and frequency of self-cleaning and refilling with the mobile app, and leave everything else for the device to do it on its own. There are two options for self-cleaning settings – schedule mode and intelligent mode. You can fill the dish with water anytime you want unless there is water in the tank.

Whenever it’s time to refill, take out the tanks and the dish, hand wash them with water and fill the freshwater tank again. The mobile app can be used to track water levels, check the power status of the device and even to keep a check on the pet’s drinking habits.

Drinkie features an ultra-silent design: simply set it to the night mode, and the dispenser will continue providing water to your pet silently at night, even if it is in your bedroom.

With all its smart features, Drinkie is useful for all busy pet parents who can now keep their pets hydrated in their own absence. Just like Cheerble’s previous pet products, Drinkie is receiving an overwhelming response on crowd-funding platforms.

Currently, it can be pre-ordered for $99 from Kickstarter, which is about 41-percent lesser than the retail price. If you like it, grab the waterer before it’s gone!
