Brondell has quietly launched the Coit Smart Bidet Toilet to create some interesting possibilities in the bathroom. Now, you won’t have to fumble for a light source in a darkened room or feel greeted by a freezing seat in the middle of a winter night. The new Coit combines hygiene with smart technologies, providing a toilet that is easy to install, feature-rich for user convenience, and sustainably positioned for an eco-conscious home.
The Coit, to compete with the existing smart toilets, brings about a nearly touchless user experience to your bathroom. The seat comes with its own remote control and has a foot-activated button that opens the lid and triggers a flush.
In addition to this, Coit automatically opens and closes the lid when you approach or leave the toilet, respectively. The hands-free experience is further enhanced by the integration of a bidet.
Designed to prioritize hygiene, the retractable bidet features endless warm water for cleaning. You can choose the temperature from six precision levels, ranging from room temperature to 102.2 degrees Fahrenheit. It also has a self-cleaning nozzle and is provided alongside a warm air dryer with 3 fan settings and 3 temperature levels.
The integration of a bidet makes Coit a hygiene-first toilet, which also ensures less use of toilet paper. Using less toilet paper can save water, trees, and energy. The toilet bowl is specially treated with a protective coating to prevent staining and discoloration. While its regular maintenance feature assures the bowl is rinsed with water (you can also use a foaming agent) before every use, and an automatic carbon deodorizer reduces odors after use.
Why do you need the Coit smart bidet toilet?
A modern bathroom requires a toilet that’s aesthetically pleasing and smart. Brondell Coit fits the job description like a glove. The one-piece, tankless design of the toilet combines sleek aesthetics with a near-touchless, fully customizable experience. Currently priced at $1,999.99 (on sale from $2,499.99), this HSA/FSA-eligible fixture comes with quick-attach mounting brackets for no-drill installation that you can even pull off yourself with little DIY skills.
Coit is WaterSense certified to help homes save water without sacrificing flushing performance. The powerful double-stream flushing creates a forceful siphon effect to remove up to 1kg of waste per flush, utilizing only 1.28 gallons of water in the process, Brondell notes.
The toilet bowl is provided with an auto-blue LED that senses your presence, lighting up immediately when you are approaching, to function as the nightlight. The Coit itself can plug into a 120V outlet and consumes a maximum of 1,050W of energy. Its emergency flush feature, powered by 10 AA batteries, allows the toilet to remain functional in case of power outages as well.
