Star Wars: The Last Jedi hasn’t released yet, but the fans are openly expressing the urge for the iconic movie by building bizarre Star Wars-inspired holiday displays at their homes. Colby Powell, who along with his family and friends installed a 23-foot Death Star replica atop his house in 2015, has once again put up a 28.5-feet long, lighted replica of the Millennium Falcon spaceship on the roof of his house as a candid Halloween display this year. The family has decided to keep on the Star Wars-themed holiday display until the release of the movie in December, and why not, since it’s making them popular.

Its frame is made out of lumber and while the dock is made from PVC pipes. Military-surplus parachute is used to wrap-up the frame and realize the life-size structure. The dock area features a poster of Han, Chewie, Leia, and C3P0 to make it look like that it’s just landed on the roof. They have attached colored LED rope lights to highlight the shape and thrusters of the Millennium Falcon, making it the reason attention for neighborhood and anybody passing by the house. The final structure weighed around 700 pounds, so they have to rent a crane to hoist it up to the roof.

There may be thousands of Star Wars-themed products out there, but the idea of placing a self-built gigantic Millennium Falcon replica on the roof is truly matchless. It can be a fantastic outdoor decoration to surprise visitors to or around your home.
