It is a universal human tendency to get drawn toward unusual things, as we find extra interest in strange things. You might have seen extraordinary upside down houses that are strange enough to make us go crazy. If not, then you might be surprised to see the Cowboy Boot House in Huntsville, Texas that is designed to look like a real high-ankle shoe with wooden sole. If you ever thought of living in a boot-shaped house, then owners of this house have made it possible, as now you can rent it out for $1,200 per month with HAR.

This two-bedroom house offers 711-square-feet of space including the adjoining accommodation featuring wooden architecture, pitched roof and wrap around deck. A red-colored spiral staircase leads to the small wooden deck on the top of the boot-shaped house, where users can comfortably gaze the surroundings. Philips is famous for constructing homes with recycled and salvaged materials and his creative building skills are evident in the interior design of this home.

On the inside, there is a small kitchen with rustic cabinetry and bathroom complete with toilet and shower. Handcrafted details such as mosaic granite flooring and shiplap paneling add a dramatic touch, while high ceiling with album posters brings unique feel to the house. There is also a covered porch with ample deck space to enjoy in the open air. It is designed & built by local artist/builder Dan Phillips of the Phoenix Commotion, who completed it last year.
