Marc Spagnuolo, the multi-talented man behind The Wood Whisperer YouTube channel has been sharing DIY woodworking videos and plans for about 12 years. He has recently built a wooden bunk bed with slide for his son who was demanding one.
Built from Alder wood, it comprises a twin-sized bed on the top and a full-size bed can be inserted in the bottom. There are wooden shelves for kids to store books, toys, and other belongings. Instead of including a separate ladder, he has creatively turned the legs of the bunk bed into stairs to the upper bed. On the other side is a wooden slide for his 7-year-old son. He has finished the slide with two coats of epoxy.

The finished bunk bed is really interesting and his son was ecstatic about it, on seeing it he said, “I don’t like it, I love it.” The smile he has been able to bring to his child’s face is unexplainable.
