Danish audio company DALI has not experimented much in the single-box hi-fi market, but now it is looking to explore the space with its latest VEGA speaker. It is DALI’s first ultra-premium, high-end audio system designed to deliver room-filling hi-fi sound without any clutter. This single-cabinet setup houses 10 drivers and 400-watt amplification for a powerful hi-fi listening experience. What makes it stand out from others in the market is its capability to adapt to different orientations automatically.

VEGA speaker employs DALI’s Adaptive Stereo Enhancement technology, which uses real-time audio analysis to create a wide and immersive stereo soundstage from a single unit. The system smartly adapts to the content being played to improve clarity, detail, and overall sound.

Furthermore, its Adaptive Orientation Adjustment technology automatically optimizes performance whether the speaker is placed on a shelf or wall-mounted in portrait or landscape orientation. With front- and rear-facing drivers, adaptive dispersion, and boundary optimization, the system adjusts seamlessly to different room layouts.

The speaker delivers a wide frequency response range of 32Hz to 22,700Hz with a maximum sound pressure level of 110dB for powerful room-filling audio. It uses a 2-way, 8-channel active crossover system with a 2,400Hz crossover frequency and is powered by a Class D Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) amplifier design. The setup includes four 25mm soft dome tweeters and four 4.5-inch low/mid-frequency drivers, with each of the eight channels producing 50 watts of power.

For wireless streaming, the speaker supports Bluetooth, BluOS, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Apple AirPlay 2 while also supporting high-resolution audio formats, including MQA. BluOS integration enables the VEGA to connect with other Bluesound-compatible devices for a fully wireless multiroom audio setup across the home.

The system can be controlled via the BluOS app, the included remote control, or through on-device controls, which include a precision volume wheel and integrated display. Another cool highlight is the onboard five customizable preset buttons that let you access your favorite playlists or internet radio stations instantly.

The hi-fi speaker also includes an HDMI ARC port, allowing you to connect it directly to a television for a more immersive viewing experience. It has inputs for stereo analogue, coaxial digital, and optical digital connections.

Designed and engineered in Denmark, the DALI VEGA hi-fi speaker looks premium in a combination of anodized aluminum, tactile woven fabrics, and real wood veneer finishes. To be available in two luxurious finishes, Natural Oak and Dark Oak, it is expected to be available at selected authorized DALI dealers from September/October 2026.
