Invented by Harley Mayenschein, the Rolling Ball Clock was certainly a novelty in the 1970s. As the name suggests, the clock showcased time by means of a remarkable system that integrated balls and rail. And, now fast forwarding to present era, tech enthusiast Jason Allemann has fulfilled his Lego bound duty of replicating a real life mechanism with those delectable plastic bricks. This time the conception entails a fully working Rolling Ball Clock, with its integral parts craftily replaced by Lego components.

Aptly named as the Lego Ball Clock, the structure comprises of a three tier mechanism for the passage of the balls. The balls in the upper most tier represent minutes, while the balls in the second tier represent time increments of 10 minutes. Finally, the lower most tier exhibits the hours, thus completing the whole system of a visually unique clock.
