At the time of writing about best transforming furniture we were not familiar with this disappearing bed, else it would have made the list hands down. The disappearing bed created by designers Julie Nabucet and Marc Baillargeon is really innovative for the fact that the bed completely disappears when not in use. The bed, tailor made for modern studio apartments in Paris, can transform into a sofa or can slide under the floor of the kitchen to hide completely from sight.

We have previously seen the Floating Bed by Chongqing and the Espace Loggia mobile bed with somewhat similar space saving facets, but this disappearing bed with storage compartments that double as stairs to the kitchen area is definitely the best of them all. We are not very sure of the material used in the construction of the bed, but we presume it to be light weight, else it’s going to be a hell of an exercise pulling and pushing it back and forth.
