There is nothing more relaxing than rooftop camping in the wild. When you are a few inches up and above the ground, it opens up a world of whole new possibilities. From experiencing a gentle breeze brushing past your hair to hearing the sound of water gushing down the stream, it’s all refreshing and rejuvenating up there. The fun is however diminished when you don’t have your beloved pooch alongside. To be honest, I’ve seen plenty of pet parents struggle with hoisting up a Golden Retriever or a massive Saint Bernard for that matter.

Luckily, there are folks out there trying to make things easier for you, ensuring your pup can enjoy the amazing experience right alongside you. An Arizona-based pet accessory company has been attending lots of Overland Expos over the last two years, and the product they are flaunting at these events is ‘DOGGO RTT Ramp.’

The company touts that this newly designed ramp ensures a gentle 31.5-degree angle, even if your tent is mounted as high as 8 feet, significantly reducing the incline compared to the typical 45-degree staircase. But that’s not all; the ramp comes with a 12-foot black anodized telescoping ladder for maximum reach and stability.

Other features include Side D-rings and attached bungee cords that offer extra stability by wrapping around the back of the ladder, preventing movement, especially with heavier dogs. Combined, these features not only offer safe and easy access for your pups but also provide them with a gently sloping ground to slide on.
