The bigger a tiny house, the costlier it’s going to be. Atleast, that’s the trend going forward in the tiny house industry. These micro dwellings are gradually getting bigger and more expensive, and a $190,000 Doodle tiny house offering 440 sq ft of living space is a classic example to vindicate the statement. Designed by Movable Roots Tiny Homes, the micro dwelling is built on a four-axle trailer and measures 36 feet long.

The tiny house comprises a main-floor bedroom, gourmet kitchen, loft bedroom, and a luxurious bathroom. “This home was designed and built around our client’s specific needs and wants as well as their beloved Goldendoodles (Murphy and Jordy). These clients had already made the move to tiny living in an RV but after a few years wanted something that felt more like a home and less like an RV,” states the company.

As a result, Movable Roots designed a home that featured all the essentials of a regular home. A glass door welcomes you inside the house and the first thing you spot upon entering is a U-shaped kitchen. The kitchen is incredibly spacious and features a large sink, a four-burner induction cooktop with a custom-built hood vent, an oven, and a full-size refrigerator. Not to mention, a number of drawers, cabinets, and cupboards that help in storing groceries, utensils, and other essentials.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the living room of the house. It can be equipped with a sofa and table that would ideally face the 65-inch flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. On one corner of the living room is a storage-integrated staircase that leads to the loft of the tiny house. Boasting a low-ceiling profile, the loft sleeps two people in a breeze.

The tiny house also has a main-floor bedroom that’s slightly elevated. This has been deliberately done to accommodate some garage space below the bedroom, which doubles as a sleeping nook for the owner’s dogs. “We raised the master bedroom floor to give the customer over 90 square feet of garage storage that is accessible from either side of the home’s exterior,” the company informs.

Returning to the Doodle tiny house bedroom, it is accoutered with a king-size bed alongside a custom-made dresser and matching nightstands. The bedroom also features two hanging closets accessed from the main floor as well as additional storage space located over the bathroom that is accessed by a custom ladder. Speaking of the bathroom, it is another luxurious aspect of the home and features a standard flush toilet and a Jacuzzi. Then we have a stacked washer/dryer and custom-built vanity for makeup and hair.
