Located in the woods of Kazan in southwest Russia, this 1,184-square-foot home is built by the Moscow-based Bio Architects. It represents their DublDom modular prefab homes, known for affordable pricing and the verity that they can be assembled on site in just ten days.

This eight-room family home costs about $80,000 and is specifically designed for a young couple who have previously tested a 430-square-foot DublDom prefab home for one year and wanted a larger model. With the idea to minimize footprint and construction time, all the modular parts of the house are prefabricated at Dubldom factory in Kazan and then transported to the site.

The house is made from recycled wood, glass, and steel to minimize the overall cost. There are large skylights, glass walls, and exposed beams, bringing plenty of natural light inside. The interior space is made of whitewashed solid pine wood that boasts a raw look.

There’s also a balcony that improves the connection of the house with the natural surroundings. All the living rooms are located in the back section of the home, while the main entrance shares space with the living room having a fireplace and offering a wonderful view of the forest outside.
