The lyrical embodiment of a home, heart and hearth lies in the kitchen. You can now rejoice the smell of avocados and garlic in your Libera kitchen that is soon to be launched at the Milan design week 2021.

Elmar brings to you the ‘LIBERA’ kitchen that will deck up your house from inside. The kitchen is designed by architects Marco Merendi and Diego Vencato. It is specifically designed to function in open spaces and can also fit within a home. The kitchen is designed to be so versatile that it can be put to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.

The Libera kitchen is compact, elegant and functional in nature. It has used colored cement for the first time to give it a fancy look.  The multiple shades allow the kitchen to have a harmonious insertion in diverse areas. The structure can easily be set up in the countryside or industrial loft as well. Libera is a kitchen conceived as architecture in steel and concrete.

The kitchen offers environmental sustainability which is another important aspect of this project. The cement chosen to make this structure was made up of completely eco-sustainable material. Cementoskin used in making of the kitchen provides a water-based and emission-free production cycle. It is a material with subtle and refined qualities, characterized by a surface finish that offers a tactile sensation similar to velvet.

The whole idea of making a concrete kitchen rose from the makers’ desire to make open kitchen architecture that ensures transparency and gels with the environment. The relationship with the external architectural spaces and in particular with greenery was of fundamental importance to enjoy the sweetness of the convivial pleasures and the life in the open air. Following this philosophy, the construction system, transportation and assembly are also simplified. For more detail and information visit Elmar.
