Finding a tiny house that can sleep a big family is a daunting task. While meaning to downsize and provide affordable living space under 400 sq. ft., these micro-dwellings have evolved into versatile abodes. Yet, we see very few options that check the size reference and fall under the magical $100,000 price tag. The US-based award-winning tiny homes’ builder, Escape Traveler has put its 25 years of experience into the Escape Traveler XL tiny house to place it in that space.

Designed for big families that love adventure, the Escape Traveler XL is a 30-foot-long tiny house that can accommodate eight to ten people with ease, and it is priced at only $98,000. The Escape Traveler XL offers 344 sq. ft. of interior space. It flaunts one ground-floor bedroom, a kitchen, a spacious living room, a bathroom, and one loft. There is room for an additional loft above the main bedroom.

Paired with the ground-level bedroom, two lofts, and a sofa bed in the living room, the dwelling can perfectly accommodate a big family. Boasting an exterior finished with cedar siding and weathered steel accent panels, the tiny house is dotted with huge windows to keep the interior light-filled and well-ventilated. A glass door opens into the spacious open-floor layout, where a dining table is placed next to a giant window and a big kitchen across it.

The kitchen of the tiny house has plenty of cabinets, a refrigerator, a microwave, a stainless gas stove, an oven, a range hood, a sink, and a butcher block countertop. A marvel of storage solutions, the Traveler XL is rife with cabinets and closets.

On the right side of the kitchen, a ladder leads to one of the lofts. Underneath is a roomy bathroom. The bathroom packs a vanity sink, large mirror, shower stall with bathtub, and a toilet. It can also house a washer/dryer unit without cramping up the space.

On the other side of the kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed offers plenty of seating during the day and can sleep two at night. Opposite the sofa, a built-in entertainment unit houses a television and provides more room to store things.

A sliding frosted glass door next to the living room leads to the main bedroom, which has plenty of room to move about. It can be designed with a loft overhead or with high ceilings, omitting the loft. The bedroom has a king-size bed and more cabinets flanking the bed.

A broad ledge joins the two loft spaces, which is a godsend as it expands the storage space. With a base price of $98,000, the Escape Traveler XL tiny house is a gorgeous family home. However, the price can vary with customization options and delivery locations.
