Mobile heaters are in fashion again, thanks to the smartphone-controlled Eve portable heater. Designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, this smart mobile heater also serves as a lamp, air purifier or a decorative item in the house.

Equipped with a touch control panel on its surface, it lets you select between heater or light mode or run the two simultaneously. You can also operate Eve via Bluetooth or a smartphone app (both Android and iOS apps available).

At first glance, you cannot guess the Eve is a multipurpose heater – its aesthetic design dupes you into believing it’s an object for decoration in the room. You can keep it either on a desk or on the floor to create the perfect atmosphere while relaxing or working.

Beautifully designed Eve has a split on bottom level which releases hot air in 360-degrees.‎ Heating can be adjusted at two intensity levels – 400W and 800W.

Light intensity (dim or bright) can be controlled manually from the touch panel or through your smartphone. Owing to its ability to work as a lamp, Eve can overcome the barrier of season. It can be used throughout the year, irrespective of the weather outside. On a winter evening, it can work as a heater, and as a warm lamp in the evening of the warmest month of the year.

Eve is part of a new Collection “Plug & Play,” presented by Tubes at the Salone del Mobile 2018. Due to its unconventional design and functionality, Eve portable heater was adjudged the winner in “Energy” category at the German Design Council, this year. The heater was also awarded at the Archiproducts Design Awards 2018, in the “Furniture” category.
