This coffee table called Flap Flap designed by Francesco Barberini and Nina A has the form factor of a butterfly at the bottom which gives it a very distinctive look. The material used in its design include use of African nut solid wood topped with a very clear tampered glass and if you were thinking that any kind of screws, glues or joints were used in keeping it together then you are mistaken. There is nothing used to keep the two elements of the table structure together, it’s just the design of the table that keeps them together. Keeping in tune with nature any kind of acrylic waxes and colors have not been used in finishing this table rather beeswax has been used making it eco-friendly to the core.
